Terms of Use

DIY Mechanikk (the "Application") is owned and operated by BluepointWorks LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("BluepointWorks," "we," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and BluepointWorks LLC. Please read them carefully before using the Application.
1. Informational use only
DIY Mechanikk provides vehicle repair, maintenance, parts, cost-estimate, and AI-assistant information for general educational and informational purposes only. The Application is not a substitute for a qualified mechanic, technician, engineer, inspector, manufacturer documentation, or professional advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Application. By using the Application, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your voluntary use and your own risk
By using this Application, you understand and agree that you choose to perform any inspection, repair, maintenance, diagnosis, purchase, or other action voluntarily and entirely at your own risk. Vehicle work can be dangerous and may cause injury, death, property damage, vehicle damage, warranty issues, emissions issues, or legal compliance problems if performed incorrectly.
4. No warranty or guarantee
BluepointWorks does not guarantee that any content, manual, maintenance interval, part, tool recommendation, cost estimate, image, external link, or AI-generated answer is accurate, complete, current, safe, suitable for your vehicle, or suitable for your situation. You are responsible for checking all information before relying on it. THE APPLICATION AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
5. Safety and legal responsibility
You are responsible for following appropriate safety procedures, using proper tools and protective equipment, supporting the vehicle correctly, disconnecting power or fuel systems when necessary, following manufacturer service information, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Removing, disabling, or tampering with emissions-control equipment is prohibited by federal law, and you are solely responsible for ensuring that any work you perform complies with applicable emissions, safety, and inspection requirements. If you are unsure, stop and contact a qualified professional.
6. AI assistant disclaimer
The AI assistant may produce mistakes, outdated information, incomplete steps, or unsafe suggestions. AI-generated answers do not constitute professional advice. You must independently verify AI answers, especially before performing any work, buying parts, or making safety decisions. Cost estimates are approximations only and do not constitute quotes, offers, or guarantees of price or availability.
7. Parts, tools, and third-party links
Parts and tools shown in the Application may not fit every trim, engine, transmission, model year, or market configuration. Third-party websites and suppliers are independent from BluepointWorks. You are responsible for verifying fitment, pricing, availability, returns, warranties, and supplier terms before purchasing or installing anything.
8. Intellectual property
The Application and its content (excluding third-party content) are owned by BluepointWorks LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Application or its content without our prior written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUEPOINTWORKS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES, INJURIES, DEATH, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, EXPENSES, VEHICLE PROBLEMS, INCORRECT REPAIRS, FAILED INSPECTIONS, MISSED MAINTENANCE, LOST DATA, OR OTHER CONSEQUENCES — INCLUDING INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT, OR ACTIONS YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APPLICATION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BluepointWorks LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Application, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Application is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Application shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Jessamine County, Kentucky, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15. Agreement
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use DIY Mechanikk. By continuing to use the Application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Use and accept responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
